Who are we?
Founded in January, 2006, Enable Training and Consulting (www.enabletc.com) provides training, consulting, writing, editing and contract programming services. Enable Writing and LV Mastery (www.lvmastery.com), its two sister companies, were both founded on the notion that training and consulting should allow individuals and companies to "bring their capabilities to light".
Enable Writing is spearheaded by Amy Leask, a freelance writer and editor. Amy's educational background includes an honours BA in English and Philosophy, and an MA in philosophy. With over ten years of experience in education, Amy has taught communications, literature, and creative writing to learners of all ages. Her writing and editing portfolio includes academic papers, literary pieces, web content, magazine articles and reviews, educational resources, marketing material and technical documents. Ben Zimmer, co-owner, has over 15 years in industry, as well as several years as an educator. He holds an honours BSc in Math and Physics, as well as an MMath in Applied Mathematics. Ben's strong technical background and his unique problem solving abilities have assisted in the creation of technical documentation and online training products. His publications include white papers for industry magazines, academic papers, marketing material, online content, as well as a number of instruction manuals.
